I’ve seen these little beauties making the rounds lately, and I had to post them!  Not only can you hang them, but they also make a cute rendition of a topiary tree. View the How to.

I love fresh flowers but since I can’t grow them, or justify buying them, here is a great way to make beautiful paper flowers.  Martha Stewart shows exactly how to make each of these flowers.  Can’t wait to put some in my vases!

I’ve seen this before and I went searching for it just so I could post it here. I want to do this, the only problem is deciding on which lyrics! The Apartment Therapy link has instructions and the link to the original site.

{Tutorial images via The Beauty Department}
~ Create a defined side parting.
~ Using a large barrel tong or wand, make sure to curl hair inwards towards the face.
~ Then clip in place using flat, setting clips.
~ Leave to cool {set} for 15 minutes then gently brush so the curls ‘blend together’. I realise it seems weird brushing out all your hard work but the curls will spring up and look so much prettier and softer than they do as individual curls.
~ If you want to achieve curls higher up your head, around your forehead, curl smaller sections towards the front. You can also mould the hair into curls and use setting clips to hold the dip of the curl. Then add a light dusting of hair spray and you’re ready to go work those vintage waves! {Pillar box red lipstick mandatory.}

HOLY SHOES, BATMAN!
DIY Comic Book Art Ballet Shoes.
I am totally going to go to target this week and buy a pair of cheap ballet flats ( I just can’t bring myself to do this to any of my current shoes). It’s super easy, you don’t have to be that crafty to make yourself of totally rockin’ comic book shoes. Or even just cutting out random pieces of the newspaper and having really cool black and white shoes.
For directions on how to make your own comic book shoes follow the link bellow.

“1. First I french braid my bangs… just to get them out of the way. Of course this step is optional if your bangs are already at a manageable length… unlike my in the middle too long but, not long enough bangs. 2. Pull back a small section of hair on the top of your head… pin it. 3. Pull back another small section of hair from the sides of your head and pin it below the first pin. 4. Take the remaining hair and pin it up as a messy bun. I like to use Spin Pins from Goody. They work awesome! And, if you braided your bangs… you would also pin that back. 5. Use hair spray… if needed. And, you’re done! I like to put headbands/clips and trinkets in my hair… This time I strung a necklace next to the braid. By the way… this hairstyle is meant to be very messy! I just do this to get my hair outta my face. Don’t stress if a few strands of hair find their way out… :D” (via ♥ The Paper Mama: hair)

These are my old Vans/new V for Vendetta shoes. I did them with cheap, crafting acrylic paint and the backs and sides aren’t done yet because I can’t come up with a good font yet. Karina FTW with the idea to do this. She’s basically my go-to-art-guru (inappropriate use of hyphens aside lol) and the coolest kid, ever. Yup
